Putin says Russia will stand firm in standoff with West

President Vladmir Putin believes that Russia will win the standoff with the west if they firmly hold their ground. The United States and NATO have been attempting to indirectly scare Russia by placing NATO troops near the Russian border and the developing a high precision long range conventional weapons system. Putin responded by saying, " No one has succeeded in scaring our country or pressuring it and no one will."

ISIS Releases Some Christian Hostages

On Sunday, ISIS released a group of 19 Christian prisoners. The reason ISIS chose to release them was because an ISIS Sharia judge. The judge had declared that the prisoners had not violated any Sharia law. It is believed that ISIS did this because they had been taking heat from other Islams who believed that ISIS was doing rogue justice. Part of the reason ISIS was rejected by al-Qaeda was because of rogue justice and them being too hard on other Muslims that weren't extreme.
